Savings Bond Training Seminars
The Federal Reserve offers Savings Bond Training Seminars at locations across the United States. The seminars are free and open to any financial institution employee who handles savings bond transactions. It's a 3 1/2 hour course covering a wide variety of savings bond topics including:
- The features and benefits of the savings bond program
- Purchase, redemption, and reissue of savings bonds
- Interest rates
- College education benefits
- Issuing and paying agent responsibilities
